I’ve been using TOWNS for a long time, and I’m completely satisfied with this project. I see enormous potential for its development and am confident that it will grow quickly and successfully. However, yesterday I participated in an AMA with the project’s founder Ben, and the communication was conducted exclusively in written form. In my opinion, this somewhat limits full interaction, as live communication makes it easier to catch intonation, emotions, and non-verbal cues that significantly enrich communication.
It would be wonderful if the platform offered not only text-based communication but also integrated audio messages and video conferences. Adding audio and video features would allow participants to exchange ideas more rapidly and discuss issues promptly. The ability to hear the speaker’s voice would create a warmer and more natural atmosphere, and video communication would enable users to see facial expressions and gestures, making interactions more lively and trustworthy. Such features would not only help establish a closer connection among users but also promote more transparent and efficient interaction with the project team.
I am confident that implementing audio and video communications will not only enhance the quality of communication within the community but also attract new users interested in a dynamic and modern format of interaction.
